•    1 ream (white 500 count) copy paper
•    Consistently resupply your child’s pencils. At home, create a supply of pencils to last through- out the year, but not to be stored in their desk or stored by their teacher.  This is to prepare them for the upper grades.
•    2 black sharpies to be given to the teacher for art projects.  Students are NOT allowed to pos- sess their own sharpies
•    $2 donation to cover cost of notebooks and organizational supplies
*Note:  Do NOT send cute erasers or any other playthings to school. Students are here to learn.

PENCILS
Students are expected to have 3 or more sharpened pencils and erasers at all times. I will give them time in the morning to sharpen them with their own self enclosed pencil sharpener. It is my expec- tation that they will not use their sharpener again for the rest of the day. Students need to be pre- pared to learn and this includes having a sharp- ened pencil. They may supply their own through- out the year or purchase them from me for 10 cents first thing in the morning. This will teach your child responsibility, self control and how to plan ahead.

*If your child brings a backpack to school, please make sure it does NOT have wheels and will fit in a small Cubby.
