It is our expectation that students will NOT use their sharpener again for the rest of the day. Students need to be prepared to learn and this includes having sharpened pencils. They may supply their own throughout the year or buy them from their teacher for 10 cents first thing in the morning. This is to teach your child responsibility, self-control and planning ahead skills.
